Summer of Hate (So H), is a shoegazing band from Espinho, created by João Martins (Guitar, Backing Vocals) with Laura Calado (Voice, Lyrics), Fábio Pereira (Bass), and Pedro Lopes (Drums) with two more guest guitarists (Ricardo Fonseca, Xavier Valente).
Their sound is rooted in psychedelic music with influences in rock and pop from the 60s, as well as in its revivalism in the 80s (Echo & the Bunnymen, The Church, The Jesus and Mary Chain), in post-punk, in noise rock, in global music and in both classical music and middle-eastern folk.
